Nature Center Fall Admission Rates begin September 7
$3 for adults and $3 for children 2-12. Members free
Admission includes solar viewing at the observatory when it's open.
Observatory Evening programs are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for children 2-12.
Evening programs will be cancelled if weather blocks the view of the stars. The Observatory also offers private star parties. Please call 541-593-4442 for reservations or more information.
Location
The Nature Center and Observatory is located next to Lake Aspen on River Road in Sunriver, OR. Follow the signs to Circle 3 and then take River Road. Look for the tall earthen berms on the right (and the red lights at night). If you're at the Marina or the Stables, you've gone too far. Bargains galore can be found at the Second Tern Thrift Shop, a volunteer-run organization which plays a big part in supporting the Nature Center.
Summer: Open Friday and Saturday from 9:00am-3:00pm Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
Open Friday and Saturday from 10:00am-3:00pm after Labor Day.
